To continue our 2026 season, FRNS of FRNS gathers at Britta Retterberg's Gallery for ZHARROKTAL, an immersive encounter into the world of Paul Valentine. Through video, animation, installation, sculpture, and sound, the exhibition unfolds as a layered exploration of philosophy, paradox, and perception. Rather than presenting answers, the works invite tension — between meaning and absurdity, control and chaos, observation and participation.
This is not a traditional exhibition, but a shared moment of attention, a space where time slows down, where conversations deepen, and where presence replaces distraction. A reminder that art is not something to consume, but something to experience together.
As an invitation-only community for the culturally attuned and independently minded, we use art as a social catalyst, to start dialogue, curiosity, and meaningful connection. The evening begins with a guided introduction to the exhibition and a conversation with the artist, followed by drinks and an open space for exchange among guests.
Designed with intention and held only for a few hours, ZHARROKTAL became more than an exhibition — it became a moment. One where, as a guest put it: “I just realized I haven’t touched my phone since I arrived.”
Bringing art closer to people, and people closer together.
